N8ey,
Here! Here! More often then not I find myself journaling in a private notebook with a paragraph of disclaimer before I rant about the absurdity of it all (In case I become famous and Jake sells my stuff after my untimely death, etc. I don’t want my journals to sound like a another Virginia Wolf…ok, sorry. I digress).

My online communication that gets posted is more often trite, or barely useful. It”s hard to have meaningful conversations on the internet as well, unless you seek out places like ephilosopher.com, etc.

And aside from the internet and in real life, I am fortunate enough to hang out in the bubble of academia. Still though, people and the institution are freaking out because of another round of 20% budget cuts…but you know, that new rec center is sure pretty, and we can afford to advertise on billboards across the metro area.

I’m beginning to think that people are more often looking to suture our problems, rather then face the cold hard fact that these problems and wounds have causes.

Right then, That’s enough pre coffee ramblings, I have pies to make!!!
