Random Link-Clicking…

Apartment searching is proving very interesting, but really gets monotonous after a while.  Oh frabjuous joy, I’m connected to the Internet!!!!!

Between getting some of my G-Mail stuff caught up and WordPress having a couple of updates, I’ve been blurring through the web today clicking before thinking.  WordPress’s extend site has “Plugin homepage” and “Author homepage” links can get random searches off to a really interesting start…

2nd Try at Linkey Day, N8-Style

Faces in Places — A blogger site that shows user pictures taken of things that look like faces. I’m talking mail-slots, light sockets, etc.

Old Photos — Pictures taken out of the attic, typically the subjects date around the turn of the 1900s.

FAMFAMFAM graphics — Free icons/web graphics from a British artist, yeah he hasn’t updated since March ’06 but I can’t throw any stones.

Twin Cities Gas Prices — Wondering what gas-spotters have spotted around the Minneapolis/St. Paul (MN) area? Thanks to a fellow Helpdeskian for this link. (I’d include a link, but don’t have one.)

Video Game Music Archive — Need a fix of midis of 80′s video games? Spend some time at this site. I’ve had the castlevania song stuck in my head for a month, and I don’t mind. Midi files only, but some are really good re-mixes.

And one *duh* link, ’cause I’ve been lost for so long.

This Week in Tech podcast and blog — TWiT podcast is back, and regular. The catch-up for me might be kinda tough.
