A Good Saturday…

First off: HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY, all you mothers out there!  (Ooh, I should specify: not those who match the colloquial.  Those who gave birth.)

Who’da thunk it?  I’m so used to weekends being a trial, I never expect the slightest bit of fun.

I’m happy to be proven wrong.

What happened?  I bought some stuff off of iTunes, got some cleaning done, reworked my finances, bought a new camera, got some decent visual work for a new theme and generally enjoyed myself today.  (Well, technically yesterday, but shut up.)

My finances needed a bit of work.  I haven’t really screwed up, but things always change so I had to review how I’m spending the dollars.  I got the past four months tracked and worked that into what I spend, added the money from the old man, and realized I was sitting kinda pretty.

So…

From iTunes I bought Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (Seasons 1 & 2), Stardust, and some Mozart, (all iTunes links).

From Target I bought a Cybershot W290 camera.

And I just got done watching Stardust.  Ooh but it was cool.

I’ve already taken some pics with the camera, just to get an idea of how it works, but tomorrow I’m going out to see what I can do.

Have fun, readers.  I’m going to watch a couple of episodes of Stand Alone Complex, then probably hang it up.  I gotta wake up kinda early to make an important phone call or two.  ;)
